Saturday, October 30, 3 – 5 PM
We would like to invite all children from birth to sixth grade to our Trunk or Treat community event on Saturday, October 30. We recognize that in a rural community it can be challenging to find a safe place for children to trick or treat. We would like to stand in that gap and provide a ready made rural subdivision, if you will, in our back yard. We will have cars parked in our backyard and ready to distribute candy to any trunk or treaters who come see us. We also have scheduled our event earlier in the afternoon so that those who want to can go to other Halloween events in the community after coming to see us. Vevay’s Trick or Treat is from 6 – 9 PM and Moorefield Volunteer Fire Department is having their Trunk or Treat from 6-9 PM at the firehouse. You will get more use for your children’s costume this way. We were disappointed to cancel this event last year due to the pandemic, but we are excited to get it going again. We will have the event rain or shine. If it is raining we will set up in the Fellowship Hall and the kids can move through dry and inside.
We will have Trunk or Treat rain or shine, so plan to come even if it is raining.
